Tamar Gamkrelidze was invited by Nantes Metropole to take part in Nantes Creative Generations Forum (NCG) 2012 in order to present the project on ‘Gender Equality in Europe’. The project was much liked by Nantes Metropole, that’s reason the idea emerged to apply for the NCG partnership call 2012 with the joint project ‘Gender Equality in Europe’ with Slovak, Dutch and Swedish partners. In addition to the workshop the participants listened to the presentation by the young delegates on “NCG on Tour”. They mainly talked about their experience and the ways to push future projects forward. Moreover the panel also discussed the European dimension of local projects as well as exchanged the ideas on what could be the NCG forum in 2013. The event was absolutely useful as it gave the opportunity to meet and share ideas with NCG network members as well as exchange the contact details with them for future partnership purposes. As it was expected during the forum the project partners located three individual members of NCG network from Nantes interested in the project.
The NCG Forum 2012 proceeded in the following way:
Day 1: 9th of May, Opening Dinner of the event dedicated to Europe’s Day at Lieu Unique, rue de la Biscuiterie 2.
Day 2: 10th of May, Plenary Session on the Future NCG Network: main aims & objectives, presentations of the winner projects at Nantes Metropole Centre des expositions, 2 cours du Champ-de-Mars.
